Terms and Conditions

1.) CHANGE-OVER DAY
Apartments 1 & 3 are let from Friday to Friday.
Apartments 2 & 4 are let from Saturday to Saturday.

2.) BOOKING PROCEDURE/CANCELLATION INSURANCE
A provisional booking becomes a firm booking and a legally binding contract upon completion of the booking form and payment of the non refundable deposit. Please ask us exactly what deposit is required - it will be about 1/3rd of the full price. An email/letter will be sent confirming the booking. We advise you to contact Holiday Cancellation Insurance and one of the leading companies we recommend is, Rothwell & Towler. Unavoidable cancellation may arise on account of any number of unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances. If the worst should happen, the insurance company will reimburse you for the rent that you have paid or the balance of rent for which you are contractually bound to pay, so that you suffer no loss.

3.) ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Arrival - after 3:00 pm
Departure - by 10:00 am - to be strictly observed please

4.) LINEN
The following items are provided: duvets, 2 pillows per person, under pillow cases, mattress covers, tea towels, bath towels & bath mat sets.

Please ensure you bring the following linen :

Single Beds: Single sheet/single duvet cover/2 pillow cases
Double Beds: Double sheet/double duvet cover/4 pillow cases
King Beds: King sheet/king duvet cover/4 pillow cases

Exception - For those coming from outside the UK all the above linen will be provided at a small extra charge.

5.) CLEANING
The apartments are cleaned to a high standard before your arrival. We request and expect you to leave the premises and equipment (cookers, hobs, fridges) CLEAN AND TIDY before your departure. Our 2 cleaning ladies will then spend 2 hours cleaning each apartment to focus on providing the highest standard of cleaning for the occupants who follow. Please DO NOT allow dogs on beds, sofas and chairs. However if your dog is allowed on these items at home, then please bring covers to protect our furnishings. Owing to various problems, last year and this, please adhere to terms and conditions for dogs.

6.) BREAKAGES / DAMAGES
Please report IMMEDIATELY any breakages,damages or failure of equipment, so that it may be replaced or repaired asap. Tenants are obliged to pay for any loss or damage to property however caused (reasonable wear and tear excepted) unless the cost of making good such loss or damage can be fully recovered under our householders insurance.

7.) OCCUPANCY
The maximum number of persons stated for each apartment must NOT be exceeded at ANYTIME, which would be 5 persons in apartments 1,3 and 4 and 6 persons in apartment 2. The only exception to the above is a baby sleeping in a cot, by arrangement.

8.) REFUNDABLE SECURITY BOND
Of £100 (to be paid with balance of the weekly price) is required to cover damage, breakages, removal of equipment and occasionally the poor state in which the properties are left. This will be refunded in full, less only a deduction for the gas/electricity bill, if everything is left in order. A cheque for the balance will be forwarded (including a copy of the gas/electricity bill) asap but anyway within two weeks of departure.

9.) COAL & LOGS
Kept in 2 bin stores at rear of Atlanta. Supplied at no extra charge. In Autumn and Winter, enjoy stormy seas and log fires!

10.) ELECTRICITY & GAS
With each booking, without exception, there is a charge for electricity & gas consumed during your stay. Meter readings are recorded at the start/end of your visit and you are charged at the same cost/unit that we are charged by the utility providers.

11.) DUSTBINS
Please ensure waste from the apartment is placed in the dustbins which are located in the paved area at the rear of Atlanta (access by side door).

12.) SMOKING
For practical reasons no smoking is permitted in the apartments. Regrettably this has occurred because of burns on carpets and upholstery and complaints of residual smoke in the properties.

13.) BALANCE OF RENT
Please send the balance of the rent 6 WEEKS before the start of the holiday and please note that we do not send reminders for your final payment.

14.) DOG OWNERS
If you're considering bringing your dog please consult us first for permission before each visit. Charges of £12 per pet per week. One essential requirement is that any dog permitted to stay MUST be flea free and must have recently received anti flea treatment, preferably FRONTLINE. No unhousetrained/chewing puppies or bitches in season are allowed. Please bring your own pet bedding and feeding bowls. Please do not leave dogs unattended if they are likely to cause nuisance or damage to the property in the owners absence (at your discretion). Please make sure you clean up after your dog, both on and off the premises. The two beaches at Trevone Bay are Trevone and Newtrain. Dogs are permitted on Newtrain all year round but there is a seasonal ban on Trevone Beach from Easter - September. However the nearby beaches at Harlyn, Constantine and Boobys do allow dogs at all times.

15.) MISCELLANEOUS

* If for any reason beyond our control (ex. fire damage) the property is not available on the date booked, any rents paid in advance will be refunded in full, but the tenant will have no further claim on us.

* The signatory of the booking form certifies that he/she is authorized to agree the conditions of booking on behalf of all persons included on the booking form.

* Cots and high chairs are also available upon request at time of booking at no extra charge.

* The proprietors accept no liability for loss or damage to persons or property on the premises.
